PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR
Dunlap Towing Company is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team! Responsibilities will include payroll and benefits functions for the company. This position is responsible for processing all payroll for the company on our in-house payroll system. This position has an important role working closely with employees of all levels while providing comprehensive support to company management.

PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for processing monthly payroll including inputting timesheets, mid-month draws, calculating sick, vacation and ATO, balancing all hours, handling garnishments, and running checks and vouchers
- Calculating and processing monthly and quarterly taxes
- Processing monthly and bi-monthly Union and Non-Union reports and other reports as needed for government reporting
- Responsible for employee setup in company’s custom-built payroll system and maintaining employee records online
- Assist Human Resources with company health and 401k benefits plans as needed
- Other duties as assigned
PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
-
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 5 years’ payroll experience
- Must be familiar with quarterly and year-end taxes
- Thorough understanding of the General Ledger and proficiency balancing various payroll accounts
- Willingness and interest in keeping current on changes to payroll taxation
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- An ability to prioritize and manage expectations
- Organized with eye for attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- The ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with others inside and outside the organization
- Experience with unions and Collective Bargaining Agreements, a plus

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
Heavy Equipment Operator Job Summary: Long-term heavy equipment operator to work at Dunlap’s wood chip handling facility in Everett, WA. In addition to operating equipment, this position will be expected to perform a variety of tasks.

- Communication and organizational skills to work effectively in a team environment
- Good judgment and problem solving skills
- Operating experience is a plus
