CHIEF ENGINEER

  • Full Time
  • Remote

Chief Engineer aboard ocean-going tugs transiting between Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii. IBU wages/benefits with opportunity for overtime.

 

Starting at $131,721+ Overtime & Cargo Time

* (180 working days)

*Potential overtime opportunity can be up to $15,000-$20,000/Annually

 

CHIEF ENGINEER

  • $721.76/Day plus Overtime and Cargo Time
  • Cadillac Health Benefits – 100% premiums paid
    • Plan provides: Low Deductibles $200/individual, $600/family; low Out-Of-Pocket max $1,700/individual, $3,600/family; and high Co-Insurance 80% for most services (examples for In-Network Providers)

Chief Engineer Qualifications:

  • Valid MMC
  • Valid USCG Medical Certificate (with valid STCW date)
  • Valid Transportation Identification Credential (TWIC)
  • State Driver’s License
  • Minimum two (2) years experience sailing as Engineer
  • EMD experience, a plus

 

Chief Engineer Job Summary:

The Engineer is directly responsible to the vessel Master for proper operation and maintenance of all mechanical equipment on the vessel and its tow. The Engineer is accountable for all engine room tools and equipment.
